Cost: $45 Explore the magic of the drum solo with dance improvisation. The drum solo is the most exciting and physically intensive part of a complete bellydance performance. This workshop is a study of basic drum strokes, rhythms and dance movements used in a drum solo. This workshop will help dance students understand the fundamentals for improvising to drum solos and how to advance in all aspects of the dance. The drum rhythms represent the foundation of Middle Eastern music. This workshop is designed for enthusiasts and aspiring performers. This course will help you design your own drum choreography and perform with live musicians. Be prepared to explore your own creativity and have lots of fun!
